I am picturing my most popular designs; any of these can be modified based on your taste or if you have a picture of a design you like I can probably duplicate it. CONTACT me for custom shapes or special wood requests or go to my SALT & PEPPER MILLS page for available mills.
The mechanism in all my mills is ceramic and made in Denmark. I began using this mechanism in 2007 and of the many hundreds that I have made over the years I have only had to repair a hand full.
The mechanism will grind salt, pepper, and spices - it will even grind coffee beans although I don't know why you would want to. The coarseness adjuster is on the bottom so it will not come unadjusted. The mill has a friction fit lid that pulls off to fill.
The price on all of the mills range according to the choice of wood, style and size. Some wood is very plain and inexpensive so they will be the low price point. As we get into prettier woods, exotics and burl wood the price will go up accordingly. My mills may cost more but they will last many times longer.
If you are providing the wood the price will be the low price of the form since the beauty of the wood is bought and paid for by you when you obtained the wood.
I don't discount the price of a second in a set if a duplication is requested since the second one is the hard one to make. If the second one is a complimentary shape and not a duplicate it is 10% off.

These simple cylinder mills are one of my most popular mills, they are large enough for the kitchen but not so large to be out of place on the dining table. The tops can be rounded as shown, flat, or whatever you request. They can be as short as 5" and as tall as you want them (within reason). These mills range in price from $100 and up depending on size and wood choice.
This set is the cylinder set with one on its side showing the adjustment wheel on the bottom of the mill. Since it adjusts on the bottom it does not come unadjusted like the mills with the knob on the top.
A couple of cylinder mills showing the flat top, the shorter one is 6" tall and the tall one is 10".
