Pens From The Wood Elfin's Workshop:

I take great pride in offering a quality selection of pens ranging from fountain pens to a small ball point pen.  The fountain and roller ball pens have a screw on cap which can be screwed onto the top of the pen or left off giving two different balances and feels.  The fountain pen comes standard with a medium nib but I can change that to a fine or a broad nib depending on your writing preference.  The nib can also be changed to a gold nib on request with pricing for it ranging from $75 to $150 (prices vary according to size, type or nib and gold prices).

My ball point pens range from small to large and use either a Parker or Cross refill; the Sierra click pen will also take a Uniball refill.

Any of my pens can be made from a large verity of woods all the way from a very elegant pure white (Holly) to a couple of black (Ebony and Blackwood) woods with so many colors in between including purple (Brazilian Purpleheart).  There are many burl woods that can be used as well.

I can also make a pen using stone including Turquoise, Lapis and Malachite. These stones are pulverized then reconstituted with resin making it possible for me to turn then on the lathe.

I can also make mechanical pencils in the same style as any of the ball point pens listed below.  Pricing for a pencil is $5 more than the pen.

To purchase any of my pens email me with a description of the wood (i.e. color of wood or species if you know what you want), type and style of pen , color of plating  (gold, chrome, or other) and price range.  After we decide on the pen you want I accept PayPal, credit card (phone me with numbers or email with partial info in different emails),  check or money order.  I always ship my pens in a PVC tube to insure it does not get broken in the mail.

Roller balls and fountain pens

Fountain pens and Roller Balls.  These elegant pens can be  made either as a fountain pen with a Schmidt nib made in Germany or as a roller ball which will take several refills including Cross, Schmidt, Hausher and others.  Prices range from $60 to $150 depending on style and wood.

Cigar style pen

Cigar style pen, these pens are called the Cigar style because the shape goes from a smaller diameter at the nib and gradually ovals larger then back smaller at the top.  These pens have a wonderful balance and are excellent for larger hands or for arthritic fingers since they are larger than normal.  This pen takes a Parker refill.  Prices range from $50 to $90 depending on wood.

Sierra style pens

Sierra style pens.  This style pen is sized between the Cigar pens and the Slimline pens and is a very elegant pen that is shorter than the normal pen and fits nicely in a shirt pocket or purse.  This pen takes a Parker refill. The price for these pens range from $40 to $60 depending on the wood

Slimline style pens

Slimline pens.  These small pens are very slim and perfect for that small loop in a check book folder or an address book.  These pens take a Cross refill   The price for this style range from $30 to $40 depending on the wood.
